Sessions are custom-tailored to the needs of the couple and can include conflict resolution using NVC Mediation and/or our special system of Coached Couples Dialogue, In both types of sessions, we strive to support safe dialogue so both parties can be heard by the other – and to speak with authenticity and honesty about what’s really going on and what are their needs are.
We use Dialogue, Empathy and Role Play to support movement and understanding between couples. Our coaching is based on decades of personal experience, along with training in Non Violent Communication (NVC) and mediation from both community Mediation and NVC Mediation styles. We are also trained Facilitators in Harville Hendricks’ and Helen Hunt’s Safe Conversations system. We have, and continue to attend workshops with our therapist mentors, Harville Hendrix, Helen LaKelly Hunt, Terry Real and Robert Gonzales, Ellen Bader, Pete Person and many others. Additionally, Ken is currently on track to become an IFS Practitioner in Richard Schwartz’s Internal Family therapy system.
Private Coaching “package”. If the timing of the regular workshops prevents you from attending the Workshop, we offer private sessions to learn the Basics of Couple’s Dialogue. We find that six sessions is the minimum needed to start becoming really conversant in using Dialogue.

$100 hour. Sessions are usually 2 hours.

Cancellations and Changes in Schedule
Reschedules/Cancellations <24 hours:
Any Cancellation or Reschedules made less than 24 hours before your scheduled date/time of your session will be charged a $50 Admin fee. You will be billed separately by PayPal for the missed session.
Re-scheduling/Cancellations:
6 Session package clients: If you miss a scheduled session, your next session will be as previously scheduled with Ken n Dee. [Ex: If your regularly scheduled session is every other Tuesday, your next session will remain the next scheduled Tuesday].
If you want a session before than the next scheduled session, we will try to work you in if our schedule allows.
…The main reason for the large discount for our ‘6-Packs’ is because scheduling administration is much less time consuming with a fixed schedule. Therefore, even if you reschedule a session more than 24 hours in advance, the next calendared sessions (Ex: every other Tuesday) will not change, unless we mutually agree to change the schedule going forward.
Non 6 package clients: If you miss a scheduled session, please contact K& D to reschedule.
Days Available: Ken and Dee are available to coach together on
Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 to 6 pm Hawaiian Time.
Ken may also have availability for solo/Parts work on the above days and some Wednesdays and (possibly) Fridays.
